Glühwein (mulled wine)

Ingredients

oranges 2 Piece
cinnamon 1 stick
clover 7 Piece
Amaretto 20 ml
rum 50 ml
wine (dry red) 1 liter

Preparation

  1. Heat the wine together with the spices in a pan (let simmer for a short while).
  2. Add the rum and the amaretto, and leave to rest for approx. 20 minutes. Remove the spices before serving.
  3. Serving suggestionFor a sugar coating, dip the upper rim of the mugs in cold water then in sugar. Serve decorated with orange slices.
