gnocchi with tomato sauce
Ingredients

| gnocchi | 500 gram | |
| mozzarella cheese | 1 pack | |
| grana padano | 100 gram | |
| basil | 4 tablespoon | |
| olive oil | 2 tablespoon | |
| onion | 1 | |
| sugar | 1 tablespoon |
Preparation
- Peel and chop the onion. Fry the onion in a big pan until golden brown. Add the (canned) peeled tomatoes, bring to boil, then season with sugar, salt, and pepper. Reduce the heat and leave to simmer.
- Meanwhile, prepare the gnocchi as stated on the package.
- Cut the mozarella cheese into pieces, add them to the tomato sauce, and leave to melt.
- Grate the grana padano cheese.
- Add half of the basil to the sauce.
