turkey basil rolls


Ingredients

turkey 4 fillet
ham 4 slice
basil 1 bunch
salt 1 dash
pepper 1 dash
olive oil 2 tablespoon
wine (white) 125 ml
cream 200 ml
mustard 2 tablespoon
sauce thickener 1 tablespoon

Preparation

  1. Wash and chop the basil.
  2. Layer each turkey fillet with a slice of ham, season with salt and pepper, sprinkle with some basil. Roll the meat, quickly bask in flour, then fasten with wooden sticks.
  3. Fry in a pan until golden on each side, then blush with the white wine. Stir in the cream and mustard, reduce the heat and leave to simmer for 30 minutes.
  4. Remove the rolls from the baking liquid, and keep warm. Add The (mondamin) sauce thickener to the liquid, season with salt, pepper, and the remaining basil.
  5. Serving suggestionServe the turkey rolls covered in the sauce, with tagliatelle or 'rösti' (hash browns).
