Rohrnudeln (Bavarian sweet snack)


Ingredients

yeast dough 1 pack
lemon peel 1 handful
butter (unsalted) 30 gram
powdered sugar 1 dash
compote 1 can

Preparation

  1. Preheat the oven to 180C.
  2. Mix the (ready-made) yeast dough with the grated peel of one lemon.
  3. Melt the butter in a oven-proof dish, form the dough into balls and place (next to each other) into the dish.
  4. Bake off until golden brown.
  5. Serving suggestionServe sprinkled with powdered sugar and a portion of compote (stewed fruits).
