apple pankaces with honey sauce


Ingredients

milk 300 ml
creme fraiche 150 gram
honey 50 gram
cinnamon 1 teaspoon
sugar 2 tablespoon
apples 3
almonds 30 gram
flour (all-purpose) 200 gram
baking powder 1 pinch

Preparation

  1. For the sauce, mix the creme fraiche, sugar, cinnamon, and honey with a bit of milk, and keep in the fridge.
  2. Preheat the oven to 200C.
  3. Peel the apples, cut them into quarters, remove the seeds, then halve the quarters.
  4. Melt a knob of butter in an oven-proof pan, nicely layer the apple parts, then sprinkle with cinnamon, sugar, and almond (in flakes). Place in the oven for 10 minutes.
  5. Prepare the dough by whisking the eggs. Then add flour, baking powder, and a dash of salt.
  6. Remove the dish with apples from the oven, carefully pour the dough over the apples, then bake off for 20 to 25 minutes.
  7. Serving suggestionServe the hot pancakes with the cold honey sauce.
