Indian chicken with grapes


Ingredients

chicken fillets 750 gram
tandoori masala powder 2 tablespoon
lemon 1
sunflower oil 4 tablespoon
pepper 1 dash
salt 1 dash
grapes (white) 250 gram
grapes (blue) 250 gram
shallots 6
coriander 2 sprig
Bulgarian yoghurt 1 cup

Preparation

  1. Cut the chicken fillet into bit-sized chunks, and marinade them with the tandoori powder, lemon juice, and 2 tablespoons of oil. Season with salt and pepper, then place in the fridge for at least 1 hour.
  2. Cut the grapes into halves (preferably grapes without seeds). Peel the shallots, chop them, and fry until soft.
  3. Add the chicken and fry for 5 minutes until brown on all sides. Reduce the heat, and leave to simmer for another 5 minutes.During the last minute, add the grapes.
  4. Serving suggestionSeason to taste with pepper, and garnish with fresh coriander.Whisk the yoghurt and serve aside the chicken.
    Tip!Serve with rice.
