prawn oil


Ingredients

prawn heads 10
olive oil 500 ml
tomato paste 1 tablespoon
coriander 1 bunch

Preparation

  1. Mix all ingredients in a deep frying pan.
  2. Heat over a low fire for 15-20 minutes (do not heat the oil to boiling point).
  3. Strain the mixture, and let the oil cool down.
  4. Store the oil in the fridge and use as dressing, or for general cooking.
  5. Tip!Add variation to this recipe by adding spices like garlic, thyme, rosemary or onions in the mixture during boiling
