spaghetti Genovese

Ingredients

spaghetti 400 gram
pesto 1 tablespoon
parmesan cheese 100 gram (grated)
green beans 150 gram (chopped)
potatoes 150 gram (peeled)
salt 1 pinch

Preparation

  1. Chop the potatoes in 4 equal pieces.
  2. Boil the potatoes for 15-20 minutes (Depending on variety). Add pasta to the boiling potatoes (Check your package for required cooking time. Pasta and potatoes should be ready at the same time).
  3. 1 minute before pasta & potatoes are done, add the beans to the boiling mixture. Add them earlier for beans that are not all dente.
  4. Drain the mixture and mix the pesto & grated parmesan cheese into the dish.
  5. Serving suggestionServe with a fresh Italian salad and a glass of cold chardonnay.
