grilled lamb cutlets

Ingredients

lamb cutlets 8
salt 1 pinch
pepper 1 pinch (freshly ground)
butter (unsalted) 30 gram
shallots 2
thyme 1 teaspoon (fresh)
honey 4 tablespoon

Preparation

  1. Preheat the (oven) grill.
  2. Cut small cuts in the sides of the cutlets, then salt and pepper the meat. Brush them with oil and place them approx. 8cm under the (oven) grill. Place a baking form under the meat to catch the fluid. Grill the meat for 5 minutes on each side.
  3. Peel the shallots and finely chop them. Chop the thyme leaves.
  4. Heat the butter in a pan and fry the shallots, then add the thyme and honey.
  5. Serving suggestionServe the grilled cutlets sprinkled with the thyme and honey sauce.
    Tip!Goes well with baked potatoes and a green salad.
