'orange duck' with wild rice and vegetables


Ingredients

ducks 4 fillet
salt 1 pinch
pepper 1 pinch
wild rice 100 gram
carrots 4
french beans 250 gram
butter (unsalted) 1 tablespoon
orange 1
sugar 2 tablespoon

Preparation

  1. Preheat the oven to 200C.
  2. Salt and pepper the duck fillets. With the skin side up, bake for 15 to 20 minutes, while sprinkling with the baking fluid from time to time.
  3. Prepare the rice according to the package.
  4. Wash the carrots, clean the French beans, and blanch together for 5 minutes in a pan with salt water. Pour off the water, add the butter into the pan, and sway the vegetables for 2 minutes, then place into the oven to keep warm.
  5. For the sauce, halve the orange and cut into thin slices. Heat the sugar in a pan with 1 tablespoon of water, fry the orange slices in this mix.
  6. Serving suggestionCut the duck fillet into slices, and serve on warm plates. Sprinkle with the orange sauce, garnish with orange slices, and serve with the rice and vegetables.
