fried prawns with lemon

Ingredients

king prawns 500 gram
limes 2
olive oil (with chili and garlic) 3 tablespoon
chili powder 1 pinch
powdered sugar 1 dash
salt 1 pinch
pepper 1 pinch

Preparation

  1. Peel and clean the king prawns. Wash the limes, and cut each of them into 8 parts, then sprinkle the cuts with powdered sugar.
  2. Sprinkle the prawns and lime parts with garlic and chili oil. Bbq the prawns on each site for 3 to 5 minutes, until they are pink. Meanwhile, bbq the lime parts for 2 to 3 minutes, until they caramelize.
  3. Place the prawns on a plate and season with pepper and salt.
  4. Serving suggestionDivide the prawns onto two plates and serve with the lime slices.
    Tip!Goes well with white rice and a courgette salad.
    Tip!This dish can be prepared in a pan, as well.
