Plantain crisps


Ingredients

plantain (green) 1
salt 1 pinch
oil 20 ml

Preparation

  1. Peel and slice the plantain in thin (1-2mm) slices
  2. Heat the oil in a frying pan
  3. Fry the plantain untill crisp (15 mins)
  4. Serving suggestionServe with a sprinkle of salt as a side-dish to your favority Caribbean dish, or as a snack.
    Tip!Serve hot with an ice-cold beer on a hot summer day.
