quick beef stroganoff


Ingredients

onion 1
garlic 1 clove
mushrooms 250 gram
parsley 6 sprig
beef (lean) 500 gram
salt 1 pinch
pepper 1 pinch
paprika powder 2 tablespoon
butter (unsalted) 3 tablespoon
creme fraiche 200 ml

Preparation

  1. Peel and chop the onion and garlic. Clean the mushrooms and cut them into quarters. Wash the parsley  and cut it into rough pieces. Cut the beef into broad strip and sprinkle with salt, pepper and paprika powder.
  2. Heat 2 tablespoons of butter and fry the onion and garlic until golden (on low heat), then remove from the pan. Fry the mushrooms for approx. 3 minutes (on high heat), then remove from the pan. 
  3. Heat the remaining butter in the same pan, then fry the beef for approx. 2 minutes. Add the onions, garlic, mushroom and the creme fraiche, and heat everything up.
  4. Serving suggestion Serve the beef stroganoff with rice and garnish with the parsley.
     
    Tip! When the beef is fried, add some cognac to the pan.
