Eastern cucumber salad

Ingredients

cucumber 1
red chili 1
lime 1
sesame seed 1 tablespoon
fish sauce 2 tablespoon
sesame oil 1 tablespoon
ginger syrup 1 teaspoon
soy sauce (light) 1 tablespoon
coriander / cilantro 6 sprig

Preparation

  1. Wash the cucumber an cut into halves lengthwise. Remove the seeds with a teaspoon, then rasp thin slices (with a peeler).
  2. Wash the chili, remove the seeds, then cut diagonally into thin slices. Place them in a cub with cold water, until they are needed. Wash the lime, rasp the peel, and juice the lime. Remove the coriander leaves from the sprigs.
  3. Roast the sesame seeds in a 'dry' pan (without oil) until golden brown. 
  4. Make a dressing from the lime juice, fish sauce, sesame oil and ginger syrup. In a bowl, pour the dressing over the cucumber slices. 
  5. Serving suggestionServe garnished with the chili rings, lime rasps and coriander, sprinkled with soy sauce.
