Dutch shrimp cocktail


Ingredients

lime 1
cucumber (small) 1
olive oil 1 tablespoon
cilantro leaves 15 gram (finely chopped)
shrimps 200 gram

Preparation

  1. Grate the peel of one quarter of the lime, then squeeze the lime juice. Wash the cucumber, then cut it into very small cubes. Mix the cubed cucumber with half of the lime juice, he olive oil, and half of the cilantro leaves. Season to taste with salt and pepper.
  2. Mix the (pre-cooked) shrimps with the remaining lime juice and cilantro leaves (keep one tablespoon for decoration), then season to taste with salt and pepper.
  3. In a (high) glass, layer the cucumbers and shrimps (the top layer should be a layer of shrimps).
  4. Serving suggestionServe sprinkled with the remaining cilantro en freshly ground pepper.
