wild berry phantasy


Ingredients

vanilla cream ice cream 500 ml
almonds 45 gram (grated)
egg yolk 1
egg white 1
powdered sugar 2 tablespoon
wild berries 150 gram
baking paper 1 Piece

Preparation

  1. Remove the ice cream from the freezer. Heat the oven to 200 C. Mix the grated almonds with the egg white, then spread it on the baking paper. Sprinkle with the powdered sugar, then bake off for approx. 10 to 12 minutes until golden brown and crunchy. Remove from the oven, leave to cool a bit, then brake the 'almond cake' into (small) pieces.
  2. Crush half of the berries, then mix them with the soft vanilla ice cream. 
  3. Serving suggestionServe the ice cream in bowls, sprinkle with the remaining berries and serve immediately with a piece of the almond cake.
