spicy fruits and nuts


Ingredients

olive oil 4 tablespoon
lemon peel 1
pecan nuts 60 gram
macadamia nuts 60 gram
cashew nuts 60 gram
almonds 60 gram
apricots 60 gram
dates (dried) 120 gram
Spanish pepper (hot) 1 (deseeded)
coriander 3 leaf

Preparation

  1. Grate the lemon peel, and finely chop the coriander/cilantro leaves and the Spanish pepper.
  2. Heat the oil on medium heat, then add the dried fruits and the nuts. Stir until the apricots and nuts turn a nice brown color.
  3. Remove the pan from the heat, add the grated lemon peel, the chopped coriander/cilantro leaves, and the Spanish pepper.
  4. Mix well and season to taste with pepper and salt.
