rich chocolate loaf

Preparation
- Line a 675 gram loaf tin with a sheet of kitchen foil. Using a sharp knife, roughly chop the almonds. Place the chocolate, butter, milk, and cinnamon in a heavy-based saucepan. Heat gently over a low heat for 3 to 4 minutes, stirring with a wooden spoon, until the chocolate has melted. Beat the mixture well.
- Stir the almonds, biscuits, and apricots into the chocolate mixture in the pan, stirring with a wooden spoon, until well mixed.
- Pour the mixture into the prepared tin and leave to chill in the refrigerator for about 1 hour (until set).
