potatoes au gratin with goat cheese and walnuts


Ingredients

potatoes (waxy) 900 gram
milk 750 ml
cream 375 ml
nutmeg 1 dash (ground)
salt 1 pinch
pepper 1 pinch (ground)
goat cheese 150 gram
walnuts 120 gram

Preparation

  1. Preheat the oven to 200C.
  2. Peel the potatoes, then cut them into thin slices. In a pan, boil the potatoes with the milk, cream, nutmeg, salt, and pepper for 20 minutes. Stir regularly.
  3. Cut the goat cheese into small cubes, and finely chop the walnuts.
  4. In a oven-proof dish, layer the creamy potatoes, the goat cheese, and the walnuts (continue until the top of the dish, finishing with a layer of cheese).
  5. Bake for 20 minutes.
  6. Serving suggestionServe hot.
