courgette-tomatoe-ham (au gratin)

Ingredients

courgettes (green squash) 4
tomatoes 6
Serrano ham 6 slice
mozzarella cheese 220 gram
thyme 1 sprig (fresh)
salt 1 pinch
pepper 1 pinch (ground)
parmesan cheese 120 gram (grated)

Preparation

  1. Preheat oven to 200C.
  2. Cut the courgette and tomato in slices. Fry the courgette and tomato slices on both sides in some olive oil for 5 minutes, then drain on kitchen paper.
  3. Cut the ham into bite-sized slices, and fry for 2 minutes.
  4. Cut the mozzarella into slices.
  5. In a oven-proof form, layer the courgette, tomatoes, ham and mozzarella. Season every second layer with salt, pepper, and thyme.
  6. Sprinkle the upper layer with the parmesano cheese, and bake for 20 minutes.
  7. Serving suggestionServe hot.
