caramel appels on a stick
Ingredients

Preparation
- Melt the sugar with 4 tablespoons water in a pan (without lid) on slow heat. Stir until all the sugar has dissolved.
- Increase the heat and reduce the sugar and water mix to caramel for 6 to 8 minutes until golden brown. Be careful so the caramel doesn't turn to dark or it will taste bitter.
- Push one stick (or skewer) into each apple and immerse one by one in the caramel. Leave to drip for a few seconds on top of the pan, then place them on baking paper.
