Preparation
- Peel the potatoes and cut them into strips of 1cm by 1cm.
- Heat the oil in a deep frying pan, with a small piece of potato in the oil. The oil is hot when bubbles start appearing around the potatoes.
- Add potatoes to the oil. Make sure all potatoes are covered by the oil. Stir every minute to make sure the fries do not stick to each other. If you have a very deep pan, you can use more oil, to fry all the potatoes in one batch.
- When the potatoes turn a crispy golden brown (after approx. 15-25 minutes), and remove them from the pan.
