chicken in chocolate sauce


Ingredients

almonds 40 gram (finely ground)
onion 1
garlic 1 clove
chilis peppers (red) 2
dark chocolate (75% cocoa) 75 gram
sesame seed 1 tablespoon
chicken drumsticks 600 gram
cinnamon 1 teaspoon
coriander 1 teaspoon
clove 1 teaspoon
oil 3 tablespoon
tomato sauce 300 gram

Preparation

  1. Peel and chop the onion, crush the garlic glove. Remove the seeds from the chili peppers and finely chop the pulp. Break the chocolate into pieces.
  2. Roast the almonds with the sesame seeds in a pan without oil until light golden, then remove from the pan.
  3. Season the drumsticks with cinnamon, coriander, and clove. Fry the drumsticks on each side until golden.
  4. Add the onion, garlic, and red chili, and fry for 3 minutes. Add the almonds and sesame seeds, tomato sauce, and chocolate, and stir until the chocolate has melted.
  5. Leave to simmer for 25 minutes
