sandwich with parma ham

Ingredients

wine(red) 200 ml
sugar 70 gram
laurel 1 leaf
dijon mustard 1 teaspoon
salt 1 dash
pepper 1 dash
ciabatta bread 1 loaf
honeydew melon 1
parma ham 12 slice
figs 3

Preparation

  1. Bring the red wine with laurel leaf and suger to boil and leave to simmer for 15 minutes.
  2. Remove the laurel leaf, then add the dijon mustard, and season to taste with salt and pepper.
  3. Cut the honeydew lemon into slices, and the figs into quarters. Cut the ciabatta bread into slices, layer with 2 parts of honeydew melon, 1 slice of parma ham, and a quarter of a fig. Pour the red wine sauce over the sandwiches.
  4. Tip!Serve as a starter.
