crunchy banana toffee


Ingredients

puff pastries 4 slice
bananas 2
cinnamon ice cream 4
sunflower oil 3 tablespoon
honey 2 tablespoon
cinnamon 1 tablespoon

Preparation

  1. Preheat the oven to 200C.
  2. Spread 2 parts of the (ready-made) puff pastry on a chopping board, brush them with oil, and place the other two parts on top. Brush the upper part with (liquid) honey.
  3. Cut each double puff pastry part into 6 squares (making 2 squares). Cut each banana into 6 parts, and place these on the puff pastry squares. Sprinkle the banana parts with cinamon.
  4. Roll the pastry around each banana part, securing the ends as a candy roll. Lightly brush with oil, place the parcels on a baking plate and bake in the oven for 12 to 15 minutes until crunchy and golden brown.
  5. Serving suggestionOn 4 plates, arrange 3 puff pastry 'candies' each, and add a scoop of cinnamon ice cream.
    Tip!Sprinkle the 'candies' with powdered sugar.
